Terms and Conditions for Tour Bookings

1. About these terms
These terms apply to all tours, flights, hotels and travel services booked through Ray.Travelrr & Tours ("we", "us"). By paying a deposit you agree to these terms.
2. Quotes and bookings
All prices are quoted after a consultation. Quotes are valid for 7 days and depend on supplier availability. A booking is confirmed only when we receive your deposit and send you a written confirmation.
3. Payment
A 50% deposit is due at booking. The balance is due 30 days before departure. Bookings made less than 30 days before departure require full payment. If the balance is not paid on time, we may cancel the booking and apply the cancellation charges below.
4. Cancellation by you
All cancellations must be in writing by email to info@raytravelrr.com.
• 60 days or more before departure: deposit is forfeited.
• 30 to 59 days before departure: 50% of the total tour price is charged.
• Less than 30 days before departure or no-show: 100% of the total tour price is charged.
Flights, hotels and third-party activities follow each supplier's own cancellation rules, which may be stricter.
5. Changes by you
We will try to make changes you request. Changes depend on availability and may incur supplier fees and an admin fee.
6. Changes or cancellation by us
We may need to change an itinerary because of weather, safety, road closures or supplier issues. We will offer a similar alternative where possible. If we cancel a tour, you may choose a new date or receive a full refund of the money paid to us.
7. Travel documents and visas
You are responsible for a valid passport, visa and any health or entry requirements. We provide visa guidance only. The visa decision rests with Immigration New Zealand. If a visa is refused, our standard cancellation charges apply.
8. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical costs and personal belongings. We can arrange a quote on request.
9. Your responsibilities
You must follow the instructions of guides and suppliers for your safety. Some activities carry physical risk. Tell us about any medical or mobility needs before booking.
10. Liability
We arrange services provided by independent suppliers such as airlines, hotels and activity operators. We are not liable for their acts, delays or failures, except where New Zealand law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, says otherwise.
11. Privacy
We use your personal information only to arrange your trip and contact you. See our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
