Ray.Travelrr & Tours ("we", "us") is run by Vince Ray in Auckland, New Zealand. This policy explains what personal information we collect through raytravelrr.com, WhatsApp and email, how we use it and the choices you have. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect and how we use it

Information we collect

Contact details: your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number when you fill in a form, sign up for the free itinerary or newsletter, book a consultation or message us.
Trip details: travel dates, group size, budget, preferences and any special needs you share with us.
Booking and travel documents: passport details and other information needed to book flights, hotels and tours, or to prepare a visa itinerary. We only ask for these when you book with us.
Brand enquiries: your name, company, email and project details when you contact us about UGC or a brand collaboration.
Website data: our website platform (Wix) collects technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, using cookies.

How we use your information

To answer your enquiry and run your consultation.
To prepare quotes, bookings and travel documents.
To send you the free itinerary and occasional travel tips. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
To manage brand collaborations and invoices.
To improve our website and services.

We do not sell your personal information.

Our website uses cookies to work properly and to understand how visitors use it. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but some features might stop working.

Sharing, storage and your rights

Who we share it with

We share your information only when we need to deliver your trip or run our business:

Airlines, hotels, tour and transport operators, and the travel partners who arrange your booking.
Travel insurance providers, when you ask for a quote.
Service providers who host our website, email and bookings, such as Wix and Google Workspace.
Government agencies, when the law requires it.

Some of these providers store data outside New Zealand. We choose providers who protect your information to a standard comparable to New Zealand law.

How we protect and keep it

We keep your information in secure, password-protected systems. We keep booking records for as long as New Zealand tax and accounting law requires, and other information only for as long as we need it.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email info@raytravelrr.com and we will reply within 20 working days. If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
